Missy Robertson
Lead Teacher
Hello all! My name is Melissa Robertson, also known as Miss Missy! I’ve been working at Brookside for 3 years and I’ve been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I still babysit on the side for whoever asks. I have experience with all ages ranging from infants to teenage years. In the past I have worked with children with special needs. I have my CDA, Child Development Associate Credential, and I’m currently going to LCCC to get my associates in Early Childhood Education. Once I graduate I want to become a lead teacher and have my own classroom here at BCEEC! I strive to become a better teacher and person for these children and to help them accomplish goals to help them grow! I have been married to my husband, Shawn, since May of 2013 and we have 2 beautiful boys, Brandt and Ayden. They definitely keep me on my toes. I enjoy going to the park and playing with my boys. I also enjoy getting together with my friends to have game night or dinners! During the spring and summer I enjoy going camping with my entire family up at Promised Land State Park. When I get a quiet relaxed time I really like to listen to music, watch movies, read books, or binge watch Grey’s Anatomy or Game of Thrones.

Tracey McCormack
Assistant Teacher
Hi. My name is Tracy McCormack. At Brookside Children’s Early Education Center I can mainly be found in the infant and toddler rooms but fill in wherever I am needed. I graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor degree in Speech and Language Pathology. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, baking/cake decorating and spending quality time with my family. I have two cats named Meeko and Ellie who keep me very busy! I am excited to be a part of the Brookside family and help your child learn and have fun.

Kristie Sisler
Assistant Teacher
Hello, my name is Kristi Sisler. I recently started here at Brookside in April of 2016. I graduated from Palisades High School in 2012 and continued my schooling at DeSales University in the Criminal Justice field. As it turns out that wasn’t the field for me. I always had a passion for children ever since I was a little girl. I have been working with kids for about 15 years and working with special needs for about 6 years. I am going back to school at LCCC for Early Childhood Education and working towards my CDA. I love everything about this job, I love that I can personally get to know not only all the children but also their parents and families. I wake up and look forward to seeing everyone’s smiling faces. I grew up in the secluded woods of Upper Black Eddy but I recently bought a house in Kutztown in May 2016. I now live there with my boyfriend Tyler, our almost 2 year old son Tucker and our 3 year old Siberian Husky Mia (who’s also like a child to me). In my spare time I love to spend time with family and friends. We love to do things like fishing and camping, tubing down the Lehigh River and having a good old family/friends barbecue just to hang out and talk.
