Hello, my name is Devon Raad and I am the Owner of Brookside Children’s Early Education Center’s. Here at Brookside our mission is “Striving for Excellence in Early Childhood Education” by providing a safe, fun and stimulating environment for all children, while providing a foundation for social & emotional development to lead children to a purposeful, fulfilling life to Be Respectful, Be Safe, Be a Friend, Be Responsible. Teaching children truth and respect at an early age will enrich children with morals that will last a lifetime.
We believe with a good start and a quality Early Education environment your child will thrive. As a result, they will reach milestones along the way. It takes a village to raise a child. So as a team, Brookside staff, parents, guardians, grandparents, pediatricians, community & therapists will be committed with helping you raise a happy, confident & well-rounded child. Darian Kholi
Director – Emmaus Location
My name is Miss Darian Kholi, I am the Director for the new Brookside Emmaus location. I have had the pleasure of working for and with Miss Devon, the founder of Brookside, since October 2015.
I have an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from LCCC and a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies from Cedar Crest College. Brookside has truly given me the opportunity to grow in my career and has brought me to this point, where I can now start this new beginning with you and your families; I look forward to writing this new chapter with you all.
I have held many different titles at Brookside: Floater, Student Teacher, Summer Camp Counselor, Co-teacher, Lead Teacher, Assistant Director, and now Director. My time here at Brookside has been filled with time in classrooms, from infants to school-age, and, for the past few years, a significant amount of time in the PreK classroom, as well as assisting with daily managerial duties.
I wholeheartedly believe that Brookside has played a huge part in shaping the Educator I am today. The space that Brookside has created for me is the same space I take pride in creating for you and your families: a wonderful and safe environment built on trust, care, and love. Your child is the greatest gift to you, and it honors me that you are choosing our center to provide quality care and be their home away from home.

In my free time, I enjoy quality time with my family, friends, and my dog, Storm. I love to walk, hike, and bike throughout different spaces within the Lehigh Valley. Some of my favorite activities outside of those are yoga, farmers’ market trips, good coffee, and supporting local businesses for some good eats.
I look forward to creating a safe space for you and your child(ren), nourishing their growth through play and educational opportunities within our center, all while building a relationship and leading with love.
